Technically known as a clamping guide support or spring hanger support, it is the component responsible for supporting the rocker arm structure. It plays a significant role in the suspension, as together with the pins, it performs the task of resisting stress concentrations located between the suspension and the chassis. These stresses are generated by the fluctuations experienced by the leaf spring suspension under changing working conditions. Its structure can have different designs including rectangular, circular, or triangular shapes, and they are manufactured according to SAE 1010, ASTM A36 standards, and others as per customer requirements.
