At Industrias MAHER, we have a history, and not just any history… Our Company began 42 years ago, in 1978. Initially, it was a dream of Don Mario Orozco, a persistent and hard-working man, who gave life and shape to Industrias MAHER, turning it into the highest quality company in the metalworking sector of Colombia, with more than a thousand product references that carry its seal, quality, and commitment.
Originally, the Company’s goal was to create and innovate in the world of auto parts, and its first name would have been Industrias Illinois, as its founder ‘Don Mario’ had lived in Chicago years before and there he learned and engineered this dream in his mind, which finally came to life in 1979 under the name Industrias MAHER.
The first importation of machinery to the country was carried out in the year of the foundation, in which we began this great legacy, whose first production of references consisted of staples, central screws, studs, pins, and bolts.
Today, more than 42 years later, we are proud to have over 1,500 product references in five business lines: Automotive, Industrial, Mining, Agricultural, Construction, and Electricity; and with an administrative and operational human team full of commitment and coherence, which permanently develops innovative products with high quality levels.
