LATHE

A lathe is a machine that consists of a longitudinal section for coupling raw material called the bed spindle section and a machining system called the tool post section.

For the material to be carved, machined, cut, or molded, a piece called the burin is used, which has high resistance to deformation and is the key piece for the turning process. Lathes are cooperators in the production of different industrial parts, such as transmission shafts, pins, bushings, etc.

At Industrias MAHER, we not only have manual parallel lathes, but we also have fully automated CNC lathes, with much more open programming possibilities for work.

The CNC technology we possess allows the operator to program the lathe for the development of parts without human participation in the operation, and would only be present in the supervision process, thus providing a reduction in errors.
